Infant & Early Toddler Program | Learningden Lower Campus

The Learningden Preschool journey begins in our Infant Program, a cornerstone of early childhood education. Our program welcomes infants as young as 6 months old, who are comfortably doing tummy time and/or starting to crawl.

This infant-focused area of Lower Campus includes four specially designed spaces: two indoor classrooms and two outdoor areas. Each classroom and adjoining patio caters to different developmental stages. While all our infants access all four spaces, our youngest infants primarily thrive in the Mini Manta Ray area, while those who are pulling themselves up and starting to walk enjoy the Sea Star area more frequently.

Our Infant Program features its own nap room, furnished with cribs for our youngest infants and cots for our older ones. We care for each child according to the infant care plan provided by their family. Through this partnership, our Care Team fosters meaningful developmental growth, grounded in touch, connection, and attentiveness to each child's cues. We believe in meeting every baby exactly where they are, not where a chart suggests they should be.

Scheduling for our Infant Program is flexible, with full days running from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. There are also a limited number of extended schedules available from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., with priority given to our oldest infants.

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet our staff, explore the indoor and outdoor spaces, see our dedicated nap room, learn about a typical day in our program, and gain insights into how our waitlist operates.

At Learningden's Early Toddler Program, we warmly welcome children beginning at 18 months of age. Families currently enrolled in our Infant Program will transition to our Lower Campus Early Toddler Program once their child reaches 18 months, enjoying priority placement as they continue their journey in early childhood education.

In this toddler-focused center, our little learners engage in thematic play, group activities, and the development of fine motor skills. They are encouraged to explore expansive outdoor areas filled with various sensory stations and table activities designed to enhance their skill repertoire.

Our scheduling for the Early Toddler Program is flexible, offering full-day options from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Additionally, a limited number of extended schedules are available (7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.).

Following the completion of the Early Toddler Program, a child's educational journey at Learningden naturally progresses to our Upper Campus, where they can continue learning in a nurturing environment before transitioning to learning preschool.
