LOWER CAMPUS

The Learningden Preschool journey starts here in our Infant Program. Our Program welcomes infants as young as 6 months old who are comfortably doing tummy time and/or starting to crawl.

The program is comprised of four spaces: two indoor and two outdoor. Each classroom and adjoining patio have been designed for each developmental stage. While all our infants enjoy all four of the spaces in the program, our youngest infants primarily find themselves in the Mini Manta Ray area and our infants who are comfortably pulling themselves up and starting to walk, are spending more time in the Sea Star area.

Our Infant Program also has it's own nap room, complete with cribs for our youngest infants and cots for our older infants.

We care for each child according to the infant care plan their family provides, and it's through this partnership that our Care Team supports meaningful developmental growth. Our approach is grounded in touch, connection, and reading each child's cues — because we believe in meeting every baby exactly where they are, not where a chart says they should be. 

Scheduling for our Infant Program is flexible, with full days consisting of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. A limited amount of extended schedules (8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.) are offered with priority going to our oldest infants.

For Learningden's Early Toddler Program, we welcome children starting at the age of 18 months. Families already in our Infant Program will join our Lower Campus Early Toddler Program once their child has turned 18 months and has priority regarding placement. 

In this program, our little learners are introduced to more thematic play, group activities, honing of fine motor skills, and encouraged to explore bigger areas of outdoor fun with a myriad of different sensory stations and table activities set up to expand their repertoire of skills.

Scheduling for our Early Toddler Program is flexible, with full days comprised of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. schedule. A limited amount of extended schedules are offered at this time (7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.).

After our Early Toddler Program, a child's Learningden journey then continues to Upper Campus.
